No holding company. No distant overlords. No puppet strings yanking us toward someone else’s definition of success. We’re fiercely independent. We bet on ourselves—and we love people who do the same. People who raise their hands, chase what scares them, and work every day to help build the agency of their dreams.
CALL USONE OF THE OGs
(we won’t argue)
A new indie agency seems to pop up every day. But Terri & Sandy? We've been here since before indie was trendy (call us one of the OGs; we won't argue).
Founded in 2010, we’re an female-owned, full-service creative agency in New York City, built to deliver Excellent News for brands that want to shape the future, not just survive it. So what exactly is Excellent News? It’s the meaningful wins you can’t wait to share. With your CEO, your CFO, your board, your team and even your mom.
And over the years, the industry has taken notice—Terri & Sandy has won accolades ranging from nine Ad Age Small Agency of the Year awards to Ad Age Independent Agency of the Year to the Effies' #1 Most Effective Independent Agency.

Some agencies have a “hot” year. We’ve had too many to count.

“The agency handles a number of wholesome American brands but also built into its DNA is provocation, even naughtiness, that keeps the work sharp and compelling.”

we are OBSESSED
We push for it. Won’t move on until we find it.
That special something worth celebrating.
Every time we do, we say the same thing: Excellent News.
It could be anything. We had a great meeting. We cracked the brief. We sold that crazy idea.
Excellent News.
This business is tough Wins don’t come easy. Which is exactly why we make a big deal when they do.
We have a bell. Yes, we ring it.
Excellent News.
Along the way, it stopped being a phrase. It became a point of view.
The bar. Work that’s worth talking about. Work that makes our clients look good in the room where it counts.
Because at the end of the day, every marketer is trying to bring back something. A win. A signal.
Proof... that the work is working.
Excellent News.
We believe creativity should do that. Not just fill space. Not just look good. But deliver. Surprise you. Move something forward.
Give you something real to say.
When the tables at the big-agency boys’ club proved less than welcoming, our female founders built their own table. And they built it big. More open seats, more diverse voices, more breakthrough ideas. So pull up a chair, and let’s get to work.
Yes, we have client expectations to meet. Yes, we have target KPIs to hit. But nobody ever made something memorable by checking every box and calling it a day. So let’s go. Give us your great looping swings. Bring your wild to our party. Take the leap. We’ll hold your hand, close our eyes, and leap with you. Because if it doesn't make us a little nervous, we're probably not pushing hard enough.

work hard, have fun, go home.
We are some of the blessed few.
We love our jobs. We actually have fun doing our jobs. But we also love leaving our jobs to go home to our homes, our pets, our families, our (non-work) friends. And the truth is, time off the job makes us better on the job.
Creativity isn’t born from blunt force; it flourishes in the quiet cracks. So when the day is done, get out of here. This will all be here tomorrow.
Creativity isn’t born from blunt force; it flourishes in the quiet cracks.
Don’t F*ck It Up!
Our pre-meeting mantra, our pre-shoot shout-out. We say it before anything that matters. It’s our version of “Break a leg!” but a little more us. A double-coded phrase that means we expect your best—and that we have full faith that that’s exactly what you’ll deliver.
Ring the Bell.
The world is starved for Excellent News. So we’ve made it our mission to make more of it. And then we broadcast that news as loud as possible. We fill the trades. We shout on social. And we ring the bell. A literal, bright-pink bell hung smack in the middle of our office. And when that bell rings, we stop and we celebrate that Excellent News the same way we made it—together.
